East Bengal’s ASEAN Cup winning midfielder Kuluthungan passed away after he met a with a road accident early in the day. Kuluthungan also won I-League and Federation Cup tittles for East Bengal.
Former Tamil Nadu skipper was one of the vital cogs for the State team in Santosh Trophy and also piled his trade for Mumbai FC and East Bengal in the country’s domestic league.
Many footballers and clubs expressed their grief to this heartbreaking news.
