League winners FC Goa are in talks with Karim Rossi we can confirm. Inside sources have told us that the former Stoke City player has been contacted by the Gaurs for the upcoming season.
The forward has played for the Stoke City youth teams at both the U-18 and U-21, and U-23 levels. In the three years there he was a relatively regular goal scorer. Considered as one of the future stars when he was playing for Stoke City, he later made the move to Hull City for half a season and another half on loan to Zulte Waregem in Belgium, a first-tier club.
The player who is known for his good finishing and technical ability, he has also played for Spezia in Serie B, after which he made the move to Switzerland and then Holland. At SC Cambuur, a second-tier club in Holland, where Bartholomew Ogbeche, the Kerala Blasters forward has played in the past. He made a total of 24 appearances with 6 goals, including a hattrick.
The Moroccan-Swiss by descent is currently playing for AFC Eskilstuna, a club in Sweden, his contract expires in December this year. FC Goa, who have always boasted a lethal attack, will look to procure the services of the 25-year-old. If signed by Goa, he is likely to be brought in only after the end of the contract period. So far, the goal-machine Ferran Corominas is yet to make a decision regarding his future with the club, and the club will be looking for a good enough backup. With his vast experience of playing in Europe, Rossi is likely to be pursued by Goa.
